Project Description

Temme // Obermeier has completed the second and final phase of construction of the PVC/PES textile façade at Stücki Park in Basel. The PVC/PES mesh fabric was selected from a wide range of fabric samples as its silver metallic appearance fits the architecture of the buildings perfectly.

These facades offer another example of the versatility of membrane architecture. In addition, to this bespoke modular cladding system being incredibly lightweight, it requires a shorter installation time.

The PVC/PES mesh cladding protects the primary facade systems of two 9-storey laboratory buildings. We completed the installation in May 2023 to the complete satisfaction of our client and both of these buildings are now ready for clients to move into.
