Out on top - new atrium roof in Berlin
The project is taking shape
The largest timber hybrid building in Germany is taking shape on the construction site of SXB Südkreuz Berlin. The walls and six floors are already installed and it won't take long before the Temme // Obermeier installation team is ready to install the ETFE foil cushions spanning the central atrium area of 1,530 sqm. The atrium roof will consist of 12 four-layer elongated ETFE foil cushions complete with our T//O FlexShade variable shading system to ensure optimal ambient comfort. The wood-steel hybrid structure is supplied by our ARGE partner Biedenkapp Stahlbau. We are already excited to commence the implementation of this design by Tschoban Voss Architects in our capital city Berlin!
